On December 25, 2024 Waretown Fire Company units were clearing from a fire in Stafford Township when they were dispatched to a possible partial building collapse. Chief 3600 (Leaming), 3610 (Hurley) arrived on location and it was determined the house was vacant and a water line broke causing water to flood and the ceiling of the raised house collapsed do to the water leak and crews were quickly released.
