Ocean Township, Ocean County (Waretown) is 52 square miles.   23 of these square miles is comprised of the Barnegat Bay.  From the 2022 Census, Waretown has 9001 residence, but during the summer season, this poulation increases by a double digit percentile, as well as the vehicular traffic along the sections of Route 9 and Garden State Parkway that Waretown Fire Company protects.
